This was commissioned and accepted by CRAG, the Cornwall Reptile & Amphibian Group as a promotional give-away to use at events.

 

The aim was to raise awareness and encourage people to join the charity to raise funds for research and conservation of our native reptile & amphibian species.

This bookmark was created using an InDesign template using all my own photography.

​

Aesthetically I designed all the information points to be floating on the surface of crystal clear waters as all our native species can be found in or near water, including grass snakes who can and do hunt in water. I chose the picture of the grass snake in hand particularly to show there is more necessity for fascination than fear.

I ensured all the writing was clear including the website address for those wishing to join, as well as highlighting a Facebook and Twitter presence.

​

On the reverse I chose three words that best describe the aims and goals of the group, visually describing the group activities and methods used.
